About this place
A natural place to begin at lunchtime is the slow-simmered motsuni set. Thick cuts of pork offal are stewed until tender, paired with tofu and konnyaku in a generous bowl with real substance. Served alongside rice and a selection of small side dishes, it makes for a thoroughly satisfying midday meal. If you prefer something stir-fried, the rebanira set—liver cooked with garlic chives, accompanied by miso soup and small sides—is another dependable option.
When evening falls and the pub menu begins, small dishes meant to accompany drinks take center stage. The options range from rustic nibbles such as Noto tsumaage fish cakes and deep-fried tofu topped with natto to tonpeiyaki omelets, deep-fried gizzard pieces, and bite-sized beef steak. Lightly seared liver may also appear on Fridays and Saturdays, giving diners plenty to linger over alongside draft beer, Hoppy, or sour cocktails.
The shop maintains a warm, easygoing atmosphere where solo diners can feel comfortable stopping in by themselves, with table seating available and advance reservations accepted. Closed on Wednesdays and Sundays, Hanaichi operates during both lunch and evening hours, with cashless payment accepted via PayPay.
